UMAR AIMAN SHAHARUDDIn
Amanda is the eldest child from 2 siblings and was born on 29th September 1998 in Kota Kinabalu. Amanda grew up and attended schools in several states across the country before finally settling down in her last school at SMK Majakir Papar, Sabah.
Amanda pursued her dream and furthered her studies in Law at UiTM Shah Alam. She is now a LLB Holder and is currently working as a Legal Officer at Yayasan Sabah.
Amanda's hobbies include baking, where she runs her homemade cookies business since 2016 called aiqisweets.
Umar was born in Selangor on 4th April 1998, being the 2nd child from 4 sibllings. Umar grew up in Selangor and later continue his high school journey at SM Imtiaz Kemaman, Terengganu. Umar then furthered his tertiary studies in Law at UiTM Shah Alam.
Umar started his career in Real Estate in 2019, where since then he has won numerous awards and featured on multiple platforms such as Star Property Award.
Umar is a Law graduate from UiTM and is currently running his Business in Real Estate.
OUR STORY
Umar & Amanda met back in 2017 when they were both studying Law at UiTM Shah Alam, specifically during the 3rd language class, Arabic.
They were in the same class and hung out with their group of friends. They often do study groups and that was when Umar & Amanda started knowing each other better before falling in love.

THE ENGAGEMENT DAY
The Engagement of Umar Aiman & Amanda Iman was held on 12th March 2022 which was held at Amanda's house in Kg Pengalat Besar, Papar, Sabah.
The joyous yet meaningful event was attended by close families and friends. The event began with a traditional Kulintangan and a speech by Datuk Indra Haji Ayub, welcoming Umar's Rombongan of 36 people, coming all the way from Selangor & Terengganu.
The event started with a discussion between Amanda's and Umar's family, led by En A.Wirah and En Izham. Both families have agreed on the Wedding Dates,
Mas Kahwin and Berian.
Umar and Amanda exchanged Dulang Hantaran of
6 dulangs to 7 dulangs respectively.

THE BERIAN CEREMONY
The Berian Ceremony of Umar Aiman & Amanda Iman was held on 12th March 2023, exactly a year after their Engagement Day, which was held at Amanda's house in Papar, Sabah.
The joyous event was attended by close families. The event began with a speech by Datuk Indra Haji Ayub, welcoming all the guest who came, followed by a speech by Umar Aiman representing his family from Selangor.
The highlight of the event was the exchange of berian of the mock cheque from Umar and Iphone from Amanda.

THE nikah CEREMONY
The Nikah Ceremony of Amanda Iman & Umar Aiman was held on 2nd June 2023, Friday at Grand Ballroom ITCC 1, Penampang. The couple officially tied the knot at exactly 8:06PM that day, officiated by Al-Fadhil Ustaz Awg Juri Ag Tahir. The bride's father, Datuk Indra Hj Ayub became the Wali to his daughter for the nikah. After the Nikah was officiated, the ceremony continued with the recitation of the Quran by the groom, where he reads Surah ar-Rahman from verse 1-28.
The event was attended by families from both sides, friends, corporate members and VIPs. The event was also attended by Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali, Minister for Sabah and Sarawak Affairs in the Prime Minister's Department of Malaysia.
The event was also attended by the Consul-General of Brunei in Sabah, Yang Mulia Konsul Agung Awang Hipni bin Matarsad, the Consul-General of Indonesia in Sabah, Yang Mulia Konsul Jenderal Tuan Rafail Walangitan and the Consul-General of the People's Republic of China in Kota Kinabalu, Her Excellency Consul General Dr. Huang Shifang.

The Wedding Reception of Amanda Iman & Umar Aiman was held on 3rd June 2023, Saturday at Grand Ballroom ITCC, Penampang. This was the following event of the couple after the Nikah ceremony on
2nd June 2023.
The couple first donned the traditional Bajau outfit before coming in for the 2nd entrance with a custom dress and suit. The event was later continued with Makan Beradab together with both parents and was made even better with performances during the event.
The reception was attended by more than 1500 guests from all around Sabah, Brunei and Kuala Lumpur, from families, friends and colleagues.
